| PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
First, I want to thank all the faithful volunteers who made our Bear Creek Open a success. The weather on Father’s Day was close to perfect. It was also very gratifying to see a large contingent of our Monday Night shooters support this event again this year. With over a hundred shooters in attendance, the Club enjoyed one of it’s best open shoots in years.
Certainly, part of this success comes from operating the finest venue for 3D unmarked in Northern California and possibly in the entire state, but that’s not the whole story. Our transition to Reinhart easy-pull targets combined with the excellent blend of shooting from under a canopy of bay and oak tress to the semi-open grasslands of our upper range enables us to offer the perfect mix of what nature has provided.
After years of searching for our niche in target archery, I believe we have finally found it in 3d unmarked. This is reinforced by the fact that our Monday night shoots are producing about 20% more shooters this year than last. Thanks to our members, we are a club on the move to better and better archery opportunities for everyone. You should all be proud of what we have accomplished together.
